BPO firm eClerx to acquire Personiv for US$34mn

Indian business process outsourcing (BPO) firm eClerx Services signed a purchase agreement to acquire 100% stake of Texas-based Personiv, operated by Eclipse Global Holdings LLC, at an enterprise value of U$34 million.

In a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange, eClerx said the deal also includes earn-out provisions for a period of two years based on revenue and profitability targets.

Personiv currently has 2,100 employees across three delivery centers in Manila, Philippines, and Gurugram and Coimbatore cities in India. This is eClerx’ second acquisition in the United States after it bought Agilyst Inc for US$16 million in 2012.
