BPOs starting to bounce back – OA survey

Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firms are now starting to recover after losing about 20-30% of revenue or clients during the strictest phase of the lockdown last year, as revealed in a survey report by outsourcing advisory firm Outsource Accelerator (“OA”).
Around 84% of the survey’s 25 respondent firms saw revenue growth in the 12 months to February. However, 8% reported flat revenue and another 8% experienced declines.
Further, 76% of the respondents grew their headcount. The 25 firms generated 9,000 jobs over the 12-month period, growing their headcount 30%.
