Business groups again call for CREATE passage
The Management Association of the Philippines and 50 other business groups renewed their call for the passage of the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (CREATE) bill, saying that businesses need this “historic economic reform” to rebound from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Economic managers touted the bill as a “stimulus package,” adding that it will boost market confidence and provide “instant relief to businesses suffering from business reverses.”
“We humbly request the Senate and the House of Representatives to move quickly and decisively to push CREATE forward and ensure its immediate enactment,” the businessmen said.
“After three years of deliberation, every day of delay comes at the risk of losing more jobs and hemorrhaging more investments,” the groups added.
