CGI completes Apside deal to expand European tech reach

BOULOGNE-BILLIANCOURT, FRANCE — In a significant move to solidify its position in the European digital transformation market, global IT consulting firm CGI has announced its acquisition of France-based Apside.
The deal, expected to close in June 2025, will integrate Apside’s 2,500 professionals into CGI’s extensive operations, creating a formidable force in high-growth areas like AI and cloud computing.
CGI strengthens European presence with Apside
The acquisition of Apside is a strategic masterstroke for CGI that increases its presence and presence in Europe by a huge margin. Apside also boasts a 50-year history and a well-established presence, with 28 offices across 6 countries, providing CGI with a robust structure to further its operations.
This action is specifically targeted at gaining a bigger market of the European digital transformation that is expected to increase at a 7.2% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) through 2030 due to regulatory requirements and corporate investments in technology.
