Cloudstaff welcomes new VP of Growth

Australia-based remote staffing company Cloudstaff appointed Chris McDonald to the newly created role of Vice President of Growth for the company’s Australian market.
As the new VP of Growth, McDonald will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition, building a world-class sales team, and doubling the firm’s footprint in Australia.
McDonald was most recently Chief Revenue Officer for search marketing firm Locafy. He also worked as VP of Sales, EMEA and VP of Sales, APAC and Brazil for global job site Indeed and held senior business development roles at Yahoo, News Corp, and Reed Business Information.
CloudStaff CEO and Founder Lloyd Ernst said, “Chris has a strong track record in delivering high-velocity sales growth and building high-performance customer-facing teams globally. He went on to add that he is looking forward “to working closely with the team to realize Cloudstaff’s ambitious growth plans and to enhance and develop our relationships with our clients.”
Established in 2011, Cloudstaff was established with a vision of utilizing the wide breadth of talent in Asia to offshore software development programs for Western markets.
Today, it employs almost 5000 staff and contractors across 13 offices to service clients in 17 countries.
