Cognizant, Max Life Insurance launch new center in Chennai

CHENNAI, INDIA — Global IT services firm Cognizant and Max Life Insurance have joined forces to establish an innovation and development center in Chennai.
The facility aims to accelerate Max Life’s digital transformation initiatives, utilizing Cognizant’s expertise in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, and cloud transformation.
“We are excited about this collaboration with Cognizant, as we expect it to further accelerate our journey to become a leading digital driven life insurance player in our sector and enhance the overall pace of our digital transformation,” said Max Life Director and Chief Operations Officer Manu Lavanya.
Achal Kataria, Vice President and India Country Head at Cognizant noted that the new center would leverage the firms’ combined expertise to address changing customer expectations.
“By harnessing our deep domain expertise and digital transformation capabilities we aim to help Max Life accelerate products to market and meet today’s customer demands for innovative and personalized services,” Kataria added.
Cognizant and Max Life have undertaken numerous digital transformation projects in their longstanding partnership, including cloud migration and faster onboarding systems. With 355,300 employees worldwide, Cognizant made a revenue of $19.4B in 2022.
