With the deal, Thirdera University – the firm’s ServiceNow training institution – will play a critical role in meeting the increasing demands in the ServiceNow arena.
Thirdera’s ServiceNow consultants from North America, Spain, Colombia, the Netherlands, and Australia, among others, will aid Cognizant establish a strong foothold with regard to ServiceNow training.
Some 2,400 specialists and 14,000 certifications will form part of the Cognizant ServiceNow Business group, which will be run by Thirdera chief executive officer and founder Jason Wojahn.
This is Cognizant’s latest move with regard to boosting its ServiceNow systems. In June, it inked an agreement with ServiceNow to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence-driven automation across industries.
Cognizant is looking to apply the lessons it learned from its acquisition of cloud transformation consultancy firm Linium in 2021. Linium was meant to transform Cognizant’s ServiceNow capabilities, but this collaboration has not made critical strides. Instead, the BPO firm’s tech evolution has remained dormant, still trapped in its IT-centric systems.
According to Tom Reuner and Phil Fersht of Horses for Sources, Cognizant has to preserve Thirdera’s unique culture – the system that made it a fledgling firm in just a short time – to make the successful leap into the ServiceNow ecosystem. The safeguarding of a culture is a fundamental measure that companies seem to ignore in their quixotic quest for rapid expansion.
