Concentrix to open ‘mega contact center’ in Colombia

Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) giant Concentrix is preparing to launch a new “mega contact center” in Medellín, Colombia with plans to hire 600 employees this year, and 1,500 more in 2023.
Concentrix Country Manager Clara María Bernal said that they chose to locate in Medellín as it is the “innovation center of Colombia.”
Bernal added that aside from its talent and willingness to provide an excellent customer service experience, its new facility is set to “contribute to the socio-economic growth of this city by joining the technological and digital development that characterizes the capital of Antioquia.”
The BPO giant is currently looking for bilingual applicants and contact center agents. The expected salary is $2,200,000 COP per month for a 42-hour workweek.
Medellín is home to around 20 BPO companies — including Teleperformance, Konecta, Webhelp/Onelink, and UPS.
