Connectis acquires SpeedApp in strategic Polish IT merger

WARSAW, POLAND — In a development for Poland‘s IT sector, Connectis has successfully acquired 100% of SpeedApp’s shares.
While specific financial terms of the deal were not announced, the merger brings together two prominent players in the IT outsourcing market, creating a stronger entity positioned for growth in the competitive tech landscape.
Strategic growth through acquisition
Founded by Michal Gierczak and headquartered in Warsaw, Connectis has been providing IT outsourcing services across multiple geographies.
SpeedApp, founded by Pawel Lisowski and Piotr Zielinski, began as an IT recruitment firm and has evolved into a comprehensive technology company offering software development centers, IT outsourcing, and specialized talent solutions.
Complementary expertise and market reach
Connectis employs between 500-1,000 professionals and supports global clients by providing precisely matched specialists through proprietary software solutions. It operates with the mission “to develop people and companies by building teams of developers today and investing in the leaders of tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, SpeedApp, currently employing nearly 200 skilled experts, serves clients across Poland, Europe, the United States, and Israel’s “Silicon Wadi.”
The transaction received legal support from multiple firms. Schoenherr advised Connectis on the acquisition with a team led by partners Katarzyna Solarz-Włodarska and Szymon Okoń. Their work focused particularly on structuring future cooperation arrangements with SpeedApp’s current owners. Meanwhile, Crido served as legal advisor to SpeedApp’s ownership team.
This merger represents not just a milestone for both companies but demonstrates how strategic acquisitions can drive innovation and growth in Poland’s increasingly competitive tech sector.
