Cybergate Galleria Cebu now PEZA-accredited
Robinson’s newly-built Cybergate Galleria in Cebu is now a PEZA (Philippine Economic Zone Authority)-certified special economic zone, according to a statement made by Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) Senior Vice President and Office Buildings General Manager Jericho Go.
The IT building is now open for IT-BPM companies who are planning to lease new and PEZA-registered office spaces in the province.
In his announcement, Go emphasized Cybergate Galleria’s strategic proximity to residential communities, schools, hospitals, hotels, commercial and lifestyle centers, and public transportation. He also stated that the establishment is only 12 kilometers away from the Mactan International Airport.
“We anticipate that locating in PEZA ecozones will still be a top consideration for the IT-BPM sector due to the agency’s professionalism and one-stop-shop nature,” Go said.
Despite the pandemic, international real estate firm Colliers has recorded a 38% (28,000sqm) increase in the IT-BPM office transactions across the country from the second half of 2020 to the first half of 2021.
