CYDEF to build strategic partnership with OmniSecuritas in PH
Canada-based cybersecurity firm Cyber Defence QCD Corp. (CYDEF) recently signed a long-term strategic partnership with its Philippine counterpart OmniSecuritas Technologies.
As per the agreement, OmniSecuritas will be the exclusive Philippine distributor of CYDEF’s entire suite of ‘Zero Trust’ cybersecurity products.
In a statement, both companies said that this strategic partnership will help them easily expand in Canada and the Philippines — especially in joint marketing, joint execution of sales and contracts, implementation of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) of labor and services, and customer support.
CYDEF Executive Chairman Paul Hindo stated that this collaboration opens a significant new customer base for the firm’s SMART-MONITOR and SMART-AV products.
At the same time, OmniSecuritas Technologies CEO Paul Izon Reyes noted that this enables them “to offer the Philippine market one of the world’s leading and most innovative cybersecurity product suites to enable any sized Philippine business to feel safe doing business online.”
The Canadian Ambassador to the Philippines His Excellency Peter MacArthur — who was present at the signing of the contracts — echoed the sentiments and added that “this new partnership is a great example of the growing business relationship between Canada and the Philippines.”
