Cyfuture to open fifth facility in India

NEW DELHI, INDIA — Data centers and cloud services provider Cyfuture is expanding its footprint by constructing a new data center in Tambaram, Chennai.
This is the firm’s fifth data center in India following the launch of its facilities in Noida, Jaipur, and Raipur.
The new data center in Chennai will allow Cyfuture to serve its clients in the southern region better and offer them a wider range of cloud services, including data storage, cloud computing, and disaster recovery. It will have an initial capacity of 500 racks, with plans to expand in the future.
The facility will also be equipped with the latest technologies and designed to meet the highest security, reliability, scalability, flexibility, and performance standards.
“We are thrilled to bring our state-of-the-art data center infrastructure to Chennai,” said Cyfuture CEO and founder Anuj Bairathi.
Meanwhile, Cyfuture Chief Technology Officer Ajai Rai said they are looking forward to “helping businesses in the region as the facility will feature redundant power and cooling systems to ensure maximum uptime and advanced fire suppression and security measures.”
Chennai is an important location for India’s data center industry, considering its strategic location with undersea cable connectivity and the presence of large corporates & IT Companies.
Aside from this latest expansion, Cyfuture is also planning to build facilities in Mumbai and Bangalore in the second half of 2023.
