Danao City job fair offers 2,000 IT-BPM positions
CEBU, PHILIPPINES — Over 2,000 Information Technology (IT) and Business Process Management (BPM) jobs will be offered at a job fair in Danao City, Cebu, today, September 22.
The city government hosts the fair as part of its fiesta celebration and to support graduates of its free IT-BPM scholarship program.
Outsourcing firms Teleperformance, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Conduent, Qualfon, Quess Corp, OpsWerks, and QBE will participate in the job fair along with other companies in the IT-BPM industry.
Available positions include customer service representatives, recruitment supervisors, data entry clerks, computer systems engineers, and programmers
The job fair is open to all applicants, not just Danao City residents and scholarship recipients.
An investment forum will also be held for the city’s current and potential investors during the event.
Danao City has been ramping up efforts to become an IT-BPM hub. Earlier this month, the city celebrated the graduation of 100 pioneering students from its IT-BPM Scholarship program.
Danao also opened an investment promotion center last year and activated an investment incentives board and a local chamber of commerce to support its growing economic sector.
