Davao hotels open doors to frontliners, BPO workers

A number of hotels and accommodation businesses have opened their doors to frontline workers and business process outsourcing (BPO) employees, according to reports.
The move comes as Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte called on hotels and motels to provide temporary shelter to healthcare workers, especially nurses who have been told to leave their dormitories.
Among the establishments that heeded the call are Blue Lotus Hotel and OYO Hotels (including Davao Airport View, Circle-B Suites, Chateau Cinco Dormitel, D’ Airbus Inn, Yellow Pad, Sharana Pensionne, Capital O World Palace), and Oh George Drive-In.
The 240-room Queensland Hotel in Davao City has been designated as a center for mild Persons Under Investigation (PUI).
