DDC Group names Nimesh Akhauri Group CEO

COLORADO, UNITED STATES — Data solutions and business process outsourcing (BPO) firm DDC Group has appointed Nimesh Akhauri as its new Group Chief Executive Officer, effective May 1, 2024.
Akhauri succeeds Jan Trevalyan, the company’s co-founder, who will transition to the role of Chairman of the Board after leading the group for 35 years.
Akhauri’s vast outsourcing industry experience
Akhauri brings over 25 years of BPO and technology leadership experience to his new role. He has held positions ranging from client management and worldwide delivery of business process transformation to functional and operational roles focused on growth across various industries, products, service lines, and geographies.
Prior to joining DDC Group, Akhauri was the Chief Business Officer of outsourcing and offshoring consulting firm WNS. He held various executive positions in the firm during his 13-year tenure. Akhauri also had stints in IT services companies Capgemini and Atos Syntel.

DDC Group expands nearshore capabilities
Akhauri’s appointment comes at the heels of DDC Group’s foray into Central and South America, which subsequently enhanced its nearshore business.
By expanding its footprint to Central and South America, The DDC Group leverages the benefits of nearshore outsourcing, such as cost savings, cultural affinity, and time zone compatibility.
DDC’s Latin America business arm will initially focus on the company’s Customer Care services. These include scalable omnichannel offerings, end-to-end experience management, support for internal processes, and business development support.
DDC was founded in 1989 and has seven business units in Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. It offers front-office, back-office, and technology solutions to the energy, transportation and logistics, retail, healthcare, finance, and telecommunication industries.
