Dell, CrowdStrike extend managed security partnership

TEXAS, UNITED STATES — Tech firm Dell Technologies (Dell) and software company CrowdStrike have extended their partnership to address the evolving issues in cybersecurity.
The partnership aims to address growing threats to firms’ digital systems and the shortage of cybersecurity professionals.
Dell will combine its security operations expertise with CrowdStrike’s knowledge in advanced threat detection. Specifically, Dell’s Managed Detection and Response (MDR) will be integrated with CrowdStrike’s Falcon XDR platform to boost clients’ managed security systems.
With this partnership, businesses of all sizes can benefit from advanced protection across multi-cloud and multi-vendor systems.
The CrowdStrike Falcon is available with volume licensing for medium and large enterprises and government agencies. In the coming months, CrowdStrike will also be available with the Dell product suite, including with the purchase of Dell commercial PCs.
Daniel Bernard, CrowdStrike’s chief business officer, highlighted the importance of boosting cybersecurity through effective and AI-centric solutions.
Meanwhile, Indrajit Belgundi, Senior Director and General Manager of CSG at Dell Technologies India, pointed out how these collaborations enable clients to have affordable and quality choices. He also stressed the importance of scalable and outcome-based cybersecurity solutions to combat threats.
“Our work with CrowdStrike is the latest example of how we’re helping organizations stay ahead of threats. As our strategic collaboration continues, the fundamental principle remains clear: help customers tackle their security challenges with ease and simplicity,” said Sam Burd, president, Client Solutions Group at Dell.
