Deloitte Consulting acquires Dextra Technologies
US professional services provider Deloitte Consulting recently acquired IT service management firm Dextra Technologies to bolster its technology services in Mexico.
This acquisition extends Deloitte’s digital transformation offerings — from standalone products into smart connected platforms — and expands its product and software engineering capabilities.
Deloitte Consulting Chief Innovation Officer Nishita Henry said that the company’s significant investments will “help create intelligent connected products and launch product-as-a-service models” for their clients.
Mexico-based DextraTech designs, builds, and tests embedded software solutions that enable companies to rapidly innovate and develop smart, connected products.
DextraTech CEO and incoming Managing Director Daniel Chavez stated that the merger will help scale their “product engineering services, empower and advance our talent and provide [a] greater competitive advantage for our clients.”
Their more than 350 seasoned product and software engineers will now join Deloitte Consulting.
