Digital nomads embrace their lifestyle, says Fiverr report

TEL AVIV-TAFO, ISRAEL — A report released by talent platform Fiverr reveals that digital nomads are increasingly embracing a location-independent lifestyle, with over 80% intending to continue their nomadic journey for the next five years.
The report also highlights that 83% of digital nomads intend to switch locations every six months, indicating a 10% increase compared to the previous year. More women are also joining this trend, driven by their desire for flexibility and autonomy.
The report suggests that digital nomads are either maintaining or experiencing increased earnings since adopting this lifestyle. Out of those surveyed, 94% reported that their earnings have either risen or remained stable, and the number of individuals facing financial challenges has decreased by 15%.
Europe and the United States emerged as the preferred destinations for this growing workforce segment.
“Work and travel are becoming increasingly blended as the global workforce evolves,” said Gali Arnon, Chief Marketing Officer at Fiverr. “It’s remarkable to witness this type of workstyle becoming increasingly common worldwide. This growing community of workers is taking charge of their careers, enriching their lives, and exploring the wonders the world has to offer.”
The survey, conducted by Censuswide on behalf of Fiverr in May, involved 2,000 digital nomads who had worked in Portugal, Spain, Indonesia, Mexico, the United States, or Italy within the past 12 months.
