DTI, Jobstreet to offer free job postings to MSMEs

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is partnering with the online job portal JobStreet to provide free job postings for Micro, Small, And Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in a bid to help them recover from the pandemic.
In a statement, the DTI said that JobStreet’s Lite Ad feature will accept more than 120,000 job postings by MSMEs without monetary charge.
JobStreet Country Manager Philip Gioca said that they are hoping that this program will be “of great help to many businesses as they recover.”
Additionally, the two organizations are planning to host webinars and virtual training for employers early next year. It will discuss topics such as attracting the right candidates, optimizing the hiring process, and engaging the workforce.
Bureau of SME Development Director Jerry Clavesillas said that both the DTI and the agency’s Negosyo Center “have always been dedicated to strengthening our MSME sector.”
