DTI urges businesses to apply for Safety Seals

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is encouraging establishments to apply for the Safety Seal Certification as proof that they are following the minimum public health standards (MPHS) in their facilities.
According to DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez, the government has already issued a total of 69,497 safety seal certifications so far.
Meanwhile, for buildings that have not yet received the certification, DTI remains to regularly conduct inspections to ensure that businesses follow the MPHS.
The agency is also reminding companies and the public to always follow the MPHS to ensure safety and protection amid the COVID-19 virus.
Lopez added that they will still “impose simpler but stricter measures on ventilation and increased airflow filtration in business establishments,” he added.
