Duterte signs proclamation for Cavite IT center
Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has signed Proclamation 1196 to approve the creation of an Information Technology Center Special Economic Zone in Bacoor City, Cavite.
A press release last Friday disclosed that the proclamation was signed by the president at the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).
The special ecozone will be developed along Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Barangay Talaba VII. The new center is planned to have a gross floor area of 50,277.76 square meters built in a land area of 7,000 square meters.
Duterte’s proclamation also includes constructing a designated building in the new IT center that will be named CBC Asia Technozone.
