Dynamips expands IT services with UpLink acquisition

PAYS DE LA LOIRE, FRANCE — The Nantes-based IT services provider Dynamips has announced its acquisition of UpLink, marking its fifth strategic purchase since 2014.
The deal strengthens Dynamips’ presence in France’s Grand Ouest region, particularly in Angers where both companies have shared office space for over five years.
Strategic alignment between Dynamips, UpLink
The acquisition brings together two companies with remarkable synergies in their business models. Both firms operate in the same market, offer identical solutions, and target similar customer profiles.
UpLink, with its €1.6 million (US$1.7 million) annual turnover and 10 employees, will integrate seamlessly into Dynamips’ operations, representing 20% of Dynamips’ business volume in the Angers region.
Leadership transition
Eric Brossard, UpLink’s CEO, will facilitate a three-month transition period, working alongside Pascal Fortin, Dynamips Angers’ Director. This arrangement ensures smooth customer relationship management and operational continuity.
Dynamips, headquartered in Saint-Herblain, has demonstrated consistent growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. The company currently generates €24.5 million (US$26.5 million) in annual revenue and employs 185 people. Their previous acquisitions include Azerty (2014), 3C Systèmes (2015), EDCI (2018), and SDP Informatique (2020).
The company has streamlined its structure, consolidating from five legal entities to a single entity in 2023. This latest acquisition aligns with Dynamips’ strategy of achieving 10% organic growth annually while pursuing external growth opportunities.
Moving forward, Dynamips plans to focus on acquiring larger companies where 100% share ownership is possible to maintain simplified governance.
