EClerx, ITIDA ink global tech pact at Egypt Outsourcing Summit

MAHARASHTRA, INDIA, and GIZA, EGYPT — Mumbai-based eClerx Services has formalized a strategic partnership with Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) to enhance its global service delivery.
The memorandum of understanding, signed at the Global Offshoring Summit 2025 in Cairo, leverages Egypt’s talent pool and infrastructure to strengthen eClerx’s multilingual and technology-led offerings for its international clients.
Global BPO power meets Egypt tech hub
EClerx, a business process management, automation, and analytics services provider, with a list of Fortune 500 accounts as its clientele and savings of an estimated $2 billion dollars in operational expenses for its clients since its launch in 2000.
The company ranked as #36 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies.
On the other hand, the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) of Egypt, which, since establishing its headquarters in the Smart Village of Cairo, has maintained the active development of the national IT environment through attracting foreign investment and enhancing the performance of local companies to establish the country as a leading technological services provider globally.
Both are vital aspects of the modern digital economy, as one provides specialized knowledge to global businesses, and the other coordinates the development of a competitive national industry poised to take their orders.
Egypt talent powers global client expansion
A primary driver of eClerx’s deepened engagement in Egypt is the strategic utilization of the country’s robust human resources and growing business services sector.
The company is leveraging Egypt’s rich talent pool to provide enhanced delivery support to its large client base in the United States and Europe. The increased functionality is being operationalized through a new delivery center in Cairo, launched in June this year, which serves as the foundation for this functionality.
This expansion may be directly explained by the need of eClerx’s global clients for increased support across various languages and technology-related services.
Through the local talent pool, eClerx will have the opportunity to improve service delivery and optimize operations across borders for its clients. The shift highlights Egypt as a growing destination for global outsourcing.
Egypt tech growth anchors eClerx-ITIDA partnership
The MoU with ITIDA is a long-term legal agreement for investment and cooperation in the Egyptian technological environment.
It will have a significant impact on the national economy’s development goals, as the contract was signed during the Global Offshoring Summit 2025 in Egypt by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and ITIDA. The partnership will focus on developing sustainable ecosystems and long-term digital capabilities.
This partnership will make eClerx a strategic partner to its clients, as it will build its multilingual delivery service and accelerate the delivery of digital transformation projects. This partnership is positioned as one of the main elements of the compelling next chapter in the Egyptian story of global technology.
Kapil Jain, MD and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of eClerx, concludes, “Our partnership with ITIDA enables us to serve our clients better through sustainable ecosystems and digital capabilities that fuel long-term growth.”
“Opening our delivery center earlier this year was driven by that belief, and we are excited to deepen our partnership and investment in the region.”
