Elon Musk slams remote work, orders employees to return to office or quit

Automotive and clean energy company Tesla’s chief executive officer Elon Musk is forcefully requiring employees to report back to work or leave the company.
“Remote work is no longer acceptable” the subject line of what seems to be an internal memo leaked to the internet read.
According to Musk, staff who wish to do remote work must work a minimum of 40 hours per week in the office.
In a follow up email Musk continued on saying “Moreover, the office must be where your actual colleagues are located, not some remote pseudo office. If you don’t show up, we will assume you have resigned.”
The memo further said that senior management staff must have more visibility in the office.
“Tesla has and will create and actually manufacture the most exciting and meaningful products of any company on Earth. This will not happen by phoning it.” Musk said.
Musk is a futurist and a business magnate who hopes to change the world and to advance private space flights that would bring human beings to other planets.
