Emerson appoints Nick Piazza as Chief People Officer
MISSOURI, UNITED STATES — Global tech giant Emerson has named Nick Piazza as its new Chief People Officer.
With 19 years at Emerson, Piazza’s experience spans roles across three continents. He’s played pivotal roles in the firm’s HR transformation, previously serving as Vice President of Global Talent and spearheading key HR initiatives. These include the launch of Emerson’s first employee value proposition and improvements in talent acquisition.
“The success of our value creation strategy has come through a relentless focus on culture, portfolio and execution, and Nick has been instrumental in helping develop and drive our culture change initiatives,” said Emerson President and CEO Lal Karsanbhai.
Piazza holds three degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, including a master’s in human resources and business administration.
Emerson is an American multinational corporation with a revenue of $19.6 billion.
