EXL Service Q2 2025 revenue up 15%, boosted by AI and cloud deals
NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — EXL Service reported strong second-quarter earnings, with revenue climbing 14.7% year-over-year to $514.5 million, driven by demand for its AI and data analytics solutions.
The company also raised its full-year revenue and earnings prognosis, citing momentum in AI-driven client activities and strategic collaboration with key cloud providers.

Strong earnings boosted by AI and data analytics
Sharp growth is because the company has been at the forefront in the use of AI in workflow services, which have resonated well with enterprise firms in other areas.
There was also an increase in operating margins to 15.8% generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and 19.6% (non-GAAP), which indicated the effectiveness of operations and scalable AI implementations.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Maurizio Nicolelli pointed to the upwardly revised guidance with the company expecting full-year revenue of between $2.050 billion and $2.070 billion, a 12% to 13% growth in 2024.
Adjusted diluted EPS is forecast to increase 13% to 15%, highlighting the problems with AI and data investments made by EXL Service. An accelerated share repurchase of $125 million was also announced by the firm, giving a green light to the effective cash flow and shareholders.
AI partnerships expand EXL’s competitive edge
The high-profile industry awards, including the Code Harbor AI platform, honored as a World Economic Forum (WEF) 2025 Meaningful, Intelligent, Novel, Deployable Solution (MINDS) Winner, have helped EXL Service to win 13 new clients during the second quarter.
The integration of generative AI and machine learning into payment systems has seen the company named a Leader in Everest Group’s Payment Integrity Solutions PEAK Matrix 2023. The accomplishments strengthen the competitive advantage of EXL Service in its enterprise solutions using AI.
The company has achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Generative AI Competency and has already been partnering with Databricks in the migration of legacy SAS environments to Cloud AI infrastructures.
These partnerships also increase the ability of EXL Service to provide scalable, innovative solutions that can allow the company to realise long-term growth in this high-energy AI and data analytics industry.
