External trade minister lauds Outsource Fiji
SUVA, FIJI — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for External Trade, SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises), and Cooperatives Manoa Kamikamica praised trade agency Outsource Fiji for its efforts to promote the country as a preferred outsourcing destination.
Following a meeting with Outsource Fiji Executive Director Sagufta Janif, Kamikamica said that the island nation has all the ingredients to be a formidable player in the outsourcing sector.
According to the minister, the industry hits all the right notes in terms of diversifying Fiji’s economy and opening more opportunities for its young population.
Meanwhile, Janif said that Outsource Fiji is grateful for the government’s support towards the outsourcing sector, which is still in its infancy locally.
Janif added that Fiji’s outsourcing sector had grown rapidly over the last three years and can continue with support from the government and its stakeholders.
