BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA — First Focus, an Australian managed service provider with annual revenue of $38.8 million, has acquired Tie Networks, a Victoria-based unified communications specialist generating $5.8 million in revenue.

While terms of the deal were not disclosed, it strengthens First Focus’ position in the IT services market while expanding its communications technology portfolio.

Strategic integration

The merger combines First Focus’ workforce of 243 employees with Tie Networks’ team, enhancing their capability to deliver comprehensive IT and communications solutions across Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines.

Ross Sardi, CEO of First Focus, emphasized the alignment of the two companies, stating, “Tie Networks stood out with their deep expertise in Unified Communications and strong client relationships. By joining forces, we can offer even greater support, expertise, and technology solutions to businesses across Australia.”

Tie Networks brings expertise in connecting co-workers, partners, vendors, and customers through integrated communication platforms.

Growth through acquisition

First Focus provides managed IT services, cloud solutions, and technical consulting from its headquarters in Mascot, New South Wales.

Tie Networks is renowned for its customer-centric approach and has been pivotal in crafting bespoke communication solutions tailored to diverse industry needs. The integration of Tie Networks under the First Focus umbrella promises to enrich the combined entity with robust technical knowledge and superior customer service.

Andrew Simpson, Managing Director of Tie Networks, and his team will join First Focus, ensuring continuity and enhanced service delivery.
