Fiverr acquires AutoDS, expands into dropshipping automation

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Fiverr, the global online marketplace for freelance services, has announced its acquisition of AutoDS, a dropshipping automation tool. Terms of the deal remain confidential.
“AutoDS has built an impressive product and community that is highly synergetic with Fiverr. Dropshipping and its adjacent services in marketing and programming verticals are some of the fastest growing categories on Fiverr,” said Micha Kaufman, founder and CEO of Fiverr.
“This acquisition also marks another step in Fiverr’s transformation from a marketplace into a powerful platform that offers not only access to talent but also software solutions for its audience.”
Strengthening Fiverr’s e-commerce ecosystem
The acquisition brings tens of thousands of dropshippers into the Fiverr ecosystem, complementing its existing e-commerce buyer base.
This move is expected to accelerate growth in key areas such as dropshipping, website development, e-commerce management, and social media marketing.
Fiverr, founded in 2010, connects businesses with freelancers offering services in over 700 categories. The company serves approximately 4 million customers worldwide, ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
Market outlook and integration strategy
The global dropshipping market, valued at $285 billion in 2023, is projected to reach over $2 trillion by 2033. This acquisition positions Fiverr to capitalize on this growth.
AutoDS will continue to operate independently while working closely with Fiverr to maximize synergies.
“Our audiences are very similar – ambitious entrepreneurs who are building and growing their businesses – so the opportunity is clear,” said Lior Pozin, co-founder and CEO of AutoDS.
“With Fiverr’s experience growing a global brand, together we will be able to accelerate our growth and take the company to the next level, helping us build the company to be the world’s #1 solution for dropshipping that we always envisioned.”
AutoDS, founded in 2018, provides a comprehensive end-to-end solution for dropshippers, including product research, sourcing, inventory management, and automated fulfillment. The platform aggregates over 150 million products and serves tens of thousands of paying subscribers globally.
