FormativGroup acquires Flok to expand Salesforce consulting

NEW YORK and OREGON, UNITED STATES — FormativGroup has acquired Salesforce consulting firm Flok in a strategic move aimed at strengthening its service cloud and experience cloud capabilities, as demand rises for integrated customer experience and digital transformation solutions across global enterprises.
According to a press release, backed by Rockbridge Growth Equity, the deal marks another step in FormativGroup’s effort to scale its application solutions platform and deepen its presence in the Salesforce ecosystem.
Expansion of Salesforce service and experience cloud capabilities
Flok has built a niche in Salesforce-driven customer transformation projects, focusing on service cloud optimization, experience cloud portal development, and service automation.
The company is also known for its work in regulated industries, including government cloud implementations, as well as helping organizations migrate legacy support systems into Salesforce-based environments.
The acquisition is expected to enhance FormativGroup’s ability to deliver more integrated digital solutions across customer support operations and enterprise workflow design.
Flok’s expertise in cross-platform integration and business process modernization is seen as a key addition to FormativGroup’s existing capabilities.
“Each addition to our platform thoughtfully expands our ability to deliver against our vision. Flok strengthens our Application Solutions capabilities and specifically deepens our Salesforce advanced solution capabilities. Together we continue to build an integrated and scalable platform designed to accelerate innovation in our markets,” said Gene Chao, CEO of FormativGroup.
Strategic alignment and platform growth
Flok leadership emphasized that the deal expands the firm’s ability to scale its consulting impact while maintaining its specialization in Salesforce ecosystems.
The combined organization is expected to support broader client demands for data architecture design, workflow optimization, and end-to-end integration services across industries.
“Flok was established to focus on providing our clients with very strong application solution capabilities with methodologies and resources with specific client and sector depth,” said Jimmy Glynn, CEO of Flok.
“Joining FormativGroup expands our ability to continue to deliver scalable Salesforce and Integration Solutions with complementary competencies in workflow designs and data architectures,” Glynn added.
From an investor standpoint, Rockbridge Growth Equity highlighted the transaction as part of a broader platform-building strategy focused on long-term value creation in the consulting and digital transformation space.
“At Rockbridge, we focus on partnering with our management teams to build scaled, strategically differentiated platforms,” said Tony Pulice, Partner at Rockbridge Growth Equity.
“FormativGroup is executing on a clear market strategy, and Flok adds meaningful market and client engagement depth within Salesforce ecosystems. We believe this combination strengthens the platform and positions it for sustained, long-term growth,” Pulice added.
Beyond the immediate expansion of Salesforce consulting capabilities, the acquisition reflects a broader trend in the outsourcing and IT services industry: consolidation aimed at delivering end-to-end digital transformation solutions.
As enterprises increasingly outsource complex customer experience operations, consulting firms are under pressure to offer deeper platform expertise, faster implementation cycles, and industry-specific solutions.
Deals like this underscore how Salesforce-focused consultancies are evolving into full-scale digital transformation partners rather than niche service providers.
