GCOM merges with OnCore Consulting

COLUMBIA, UNITED STATES — GCOM, a provider of technology solutions for state and local governments, announced its merger with information technology (IT) company OnCore Consulting.
This merger broadens GCOM’s reach, making it a nationwide leader in digital software and solutions solely focused on the public sector. Backed by Sagewind Capital, the combined entity now services 32 states, including 13 of the 15 most populous in the United States.
GCOM specializes in outcome-driven technology solutions aimed at improving public wellbeing, safety, and economic prosperity.
OnCore Consulting brings its extensive IT expertise in California’s public sector, notably in health and human services, tax and revenue, and pension solutions. Its services range from cloud solutions to project management and enterprise architecture.
“The merger builds upon our decades of experience partnering with government agencies to deliver positive outcomes for their constituents. Our customers will now benefit from broader solution sets, greater scale, and unmatched domain expertise,” said GCOM CEO Kamal Bherwani.
The merger is expected to create a synergistic impact, capitalizing on both companies’ decades-long experience and reputation for customer satisfaction.

The combined expertise will aim to offer more comprehensive and efficient technology solutions for government agencies across the United States.
According to Crunchbase, GCOM’s estimated revenue range is between $50 million and $100 million, and it has acquired seven companies, including OnCore.
