Generation India, Apna, and AWS to boost India’s tech employment

NEW DELHI, INDIA — Global non-profit Generation India Foundation announced its partnership with job networking platform Apna and Amazon Web Services (AWS) re/Start program to amplify tech employment in India.
The partnership intends to fulfill the rising demand for cloud and IT experts in the tech sector. With AWS re/Start equipping graduates with foundational cloud skills, Apna’s platform will offer these individuals a direct channel to recruiters searching for entry-level tech specialists nationwide.
Additionally, participants will benefit from the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification exam, covered by the program.
Apna Founder and CEO Nirmit Parikh said the collaboration aims to empower tech professionals and bridge the talent demand in India’s tech industry.
Echoing this enthusiasm, Amit Mehta of Amazon Web Services India sees this partnership as an avenue to cultivate a diverse cloud talent pool, propelling companies towards cloud innovation.
