Genesys to acquire Radarr Technologies

CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Information technology (IT) firm Genesys is slated to acquire AI-based social and digital listening firm Radarr Technologies to unify the customer experience (CX).
The acquisition aims to aid firms in unifying the customer experience. The integration of Genesys AI and Radarr Technologies will allow firms to easily access insights from social media channels, which it can use to enhance CX.
Most organizations have critical data locked in silos, disconnected from other customer engagement systems and departments – an inefficient arrangement that prevents them from crafting and delivering personalized experiences.
“Once the capabilities of Radarr Technologies are integrated into Genesys Cloud, Genesys can accelerate its transformation of the CX industry by helping organizations further connect every touchpoint into the end-to-end customer experience,” said Tony Bates, Genesys Chief Executive Officer and chairman.
Through the integration of Radarr Technologies, Genesys Cloud customers will gain direct access to new feeds from public social media posts, including the Apple App Store, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, Google Play, Google My Business, and more.
“Connecting these public feeds with the orchestration of the customer journey will provide companies not only a more holistic understanding of consumer behavior and sentiment, but the tools to take action through more enhanced personalization and engagement,” noted Sheila McGee-Smith, president of McGee-Smith Analytics.
Radarr Technologies has offices in India and Singapore. It harnesses its digital intelligence platform to listen, respond, analyze, publish, and act on insights.
Genesys provides CX and call center platforms, both cloud-based and hybrid cloud, to mid-sized and large companies, with over 7,500 clients across 100 countries.
Genesys Cloud saw its revenue increase by 60% year-over-year during the third quarter of the company’s fiscal year 2024 on the back of robust performance in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
