Genpact opens new BPO center in Philippines’ Bohol town, creating local jobs

BOHOL, PHILIPPINES — Business process outsourcing firm Genpact has launched a new delivery operations center in Bohol, Philippines. The expansion promises to create hundreds of jobs for local residents.
While specific investment figures for the Bohol facility weren’t disclosed, it has already hired several dozen workers, 85% of whom are local professionals. The center will initially provide customer service support for an e-commerce client with plans to diversify into additional business lines throughout 2025.

The expansion offers Filipinos the opportunity to work for a global company and gain valuable experience in high-demand, tech-driven industries.
As the center grows, it plans to expand its services beyond customer support to include collections, insurance claims processing, and sales. This diversification aims to create multiple career paths for locals, fostering professional growth within the company.

Global presence with local impact
Genpact began operations in the Philippines in 2006 and now maintains nine sites across the country, including locations in Bataan, Muntinlupa City, Bonifacio Global City, Quezon City, Cebu City, and now Bohol Province.
The company’s Philippine operations serve 12 countries and over 60 global clients, employing approximately 10,000 people, with staffing growing at a rate of 30% year on year.
Globally, Genpact maintains a presence across multiple continents with offices in various countries, including South Africa, China, India, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Their extensive network of delivery centers allows them to provide services to clients worldwide while creating employment opportunities in diverse communities.
