Genpact leverages AWS AI to accelerate insurance claims

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Global professional services firm Genpact is integrating Amazon’s generative AI service Amazon Bedrock and procurement tools into its pricing automation platform to expedite property insurance claims.
Genpact’s pricing automation workflow now leverages Amazon Bedrock’s generative AI capabilities and integrates with Amazon Business’ pricing application programming interfaces (APIs) to reduce the claims submission process from weeks to days. This is achieved by rapidly identifying replacement items and providing cost estimates.
“Our Genpact AI-driven automated pricing workflow, powered by AWS, is transforming the research, significantly reducing the time adjusters spend investigating by as much as 75 percent,” said Sameer Dewan, Global Operating Officer, Genpact.
First launched in preview in April and made generally available in September, Amazon Bedrock is a fully managed service that provides access to leading foundation models for building customizable generative AI applications.
Founded in 1997 and headquartered in New York, Genpact has over 100,000 employees and provides services to clients in over 30 countries. The $4 billion revenue company plans to integrate more AI services into the automated workflow. It ranked #20 at Time Doctor OA500, an index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing firms.
