Global IT industry could suffer from Ukraine-Russia conflict

The global IT (information technology) industry could be affected by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which is one of the world’s largest providers of outsourced IT services.
According to a report by Fast Company, Ukraine is a breeding ground for software development talent. The country now has an estimated 200,000 software developers.
Based on the report by Fast Company, many tech firms in Ukraine are now looking at the possibility of transferring responsibilities to remote employees outside of the country.
A number of large US tech companies, including Microsoft and Salesforce’s Slack outsource to major contractors in Ukraine.
