Glowtouch, US DoD collaborate to employ military spouses

Global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services provider GlowTouch joined the United States Department of Defense’s Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP) to create new job opportunities for military spouses.
This partnership creates a potential new avenue for GlowTouch’s SALUTE program that focuses on supporting and employing family members of soldiers.
GlowTouch Founder and President Vidya Ravichandran said that “military spouses are a deep labor pool with a wealth of talent, but frequent changes in [the] station can disrupt careers. The SALUTE program resolves that issue.”
SALUTE helps make work portable and reduces the stress of relocation in military families.
Aligned with MSEP, the program promotes professional growth to spouses, disabled veterans, and Guard and Reserve members who need a flexible work schedule.
Glowtouch Corporate Social Responsibility and Impact Sourcing Manager Keshia Swan said that they are “actively recruiting for every position from customer service agent to corporate staff” that spouses can take with them wherever they are stationed.
