Grant Thornton taps Jade Palmer to lead infrastructure valuation unit
ILLINOIS, UNITED STATES — Grant Thornton United Kingdom has promoted Jade Palmer to Partner and Head of its Infrastructure Valuations and Modelling practice, effective immediately.
Palmer, previously a Director, will lead the team providing critical financial analysis for global infrastructure and energy assets amid a period of significant sector investment.
The company ranked #34 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies. The 2026 edition of the OA500 is expected to be released in March.
Promotion aligns with 160-partner growth plan
It can be recalled that Grant Thornton UK recently pushed to recruit 160 new partners. And now it is being operationalized through the strategic promotion of Palmer, which directly channels investment into a high-growth advisory sector and exemplifies the firm’s leadership model.
The firm is promoting a leader with deep, cultivated expertise; Palmer has worked exclusively in infrastructure, joining the firm in 2018 and building a “best-in-class” team since her 2021 director promotion.

Palmer’s team offers end-to-end support across the transaction lifecycle for infrastructure and energy assets, serving infrastructure funds, asset managers, and developers.
By placing a recognized sector expert and market commentator at the helm, Grant Thornton aims to secure a larger share of the valuation and modelling work required for these capital-intensive investments.
Global infrastructure and energy mandate
Palmer’s new role highlights the increasingly global and specialized nature of infrastructure investment, requiring leaders with both technical skill and international reach.
Her experience spans core, social, and renewable energy infrastructure, with a particular focus on energy transition, and encompasses detailed asset valuations across the United States, Asia-Pacific (APAC), and Africa from her London base.
