Greater Manila area under ECQ until April 4
Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque announced that Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal (also known as the “Greater Manila area” or as defined by Roque, “NCR Plus”) will be under the strictest Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) from March 29 to April 4.
The areas will be under a 6pm to 5am curfew with exceptions for authorized persons. Travel passes are not required, but exempted workers will be required to show their identification cards.
Modes of public transportation and some priority construction projects can continue to operate. Private essential businesses may operate at 50% capacity. However, healthcare facilities, frontline services, and services under agriculture and essential goods delivery can operate at full capacity.
