HCLTech, Carahsoft partner for U.S. public sector digital shift

NOIDA, INDIA, and VIRGINIA, UNITED STATES — A strategic partnership between global technology firm HCLTech and IT solutions provider Carahsoft aims to accelerate digital modernization for United States public-sector agencies.
The partnership will leverage Carahsoft’s well-developed distribution framework and contracting vehicles to expand access to HCLTech’s mission-driven technology solutions for federal, state, local, and education organizations.
Streamlining procurement via major government contracts
This alliance will unlock a market for HCLTech by building a relationship with Carahsoft, an IT solutions distributor with over 2,000 employees, trusted by the government, particularly in the public sector.
These include the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) ValuePoint, OMNIA Partners, E&I Cooperative Services Contract, and the Quilt contracts, which are widely used by state and local governments, educational institutions, and other agencies.
This organizational model removes the conventional procurement barrier, enabling reseller partners and government customers to acquire high-level solutions from HCLTech effectively.
The availability through these specific contracts provides a compliant and expedited pathway for agencies seeking digital transformation tools. The scope of work for Carahsoft includes sales, marketing, and contracting. It enables HCLTech to enter the public sector.
Arjun Sethi, Chief Growth Officer and President of HCLTech Public Sector Solutions, notes, “Our partnership with Carahsoft marks an important step to drive IT efficiencies and modernize technology platforms across the Public Sector.”
Deploying AI Force and cybersecurity for mission success
The alliance has been strategically oriented to provide the outcome-driven technology platforms of HCLTech to address the special needs of government service delivery.
“Our goal through this partnership is to make HCLTech’s AI Force accessible to the Public Sector and to ensure deployment at the speed and scale agencies require to enhance constituent services, strengthen cybersecurity posture, and improve operational efficiency,” said Michael Shrader, Vice President of Intelligence and Innovative Solutions at Carahsoft.
Carahsoft enters into these initiatives with experience in government professional contracting and a large network of reseller affiliates. The collaboration will offer integrated solutions rather than individual products so that the agencies have a complete unit to support their mission objectives.
The partnership of the technical strengths of HCLTech with the channel and contracting skills of Carahsoft will allow the alliance to further the utilization of modern technologies, which could help to enhance efficiency in operations, assure the critical infrastructure, and eventually provide better delivery of state services within the U.S.
“Together we bring a unique blend of trusted engineering, deep domain insight, and channel enablement to help agencies achieve lasting outcomes,” Sethi concludes.
HCLTech ranked #12 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies. The 2026 edition of the OA500 is expected to be released in March.
