Hexaware taps new leaders to accelerate AI growth

NAVI MUMBAI, INDIA – Hexaware Technologies, an IT services provider, has pushed forward a series of strategic executive appointments, according to Capital Market.
The company’s management change signals an intensified focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and domain-specific growth.
Hexaware was previously ranked #18 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies.
AI practice merges with digital operations
A core initiative derived from these changes is the strategic consolidation of Hexaware’s AI leadership to streamline and accelerate its capabilities in a rapidly evolving market.
The addition of Siddharth Dhar, who is already President and Head of Digital IT Operations (DITO), as the supplemental Head of AI Practice, leaves one person in charge of both the operational and innovative sides of the company’s technology services.
Dhar has been a Hexaware veteran since 2016, bringing over two decades of technology leadership from his prior role at HCL Technologies.
This step combines the company’s central digital infrastructure with the future-oriented development of AI, ensuring a consistent strategy.
Morning Star reports that this merger aligns with the market’s shift toward AI-led delivery. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Hexaware Executive Director Srikrishna Ramakarthikeyan reiterated his remarks on the appointment of Gopan.
“He will help scale our High Tech, Products, and Platforms business with a clear focus on customer value,” he notes.
By placing Dhar at the helm of both DITO and the AI Practice, Hexaware aims to embed AI deeply into its service lifecycle, leveraging its differentiated AI and cloud offerings to drive measurable outcomes for clients.
The structure is designed to create a powerful, symbiotic ecosystem with leading technology platforms.
Hexaware bolsters AI, hi-tech leadership
The second motivating concept behind management transformation is a renewed dedication to vertical-focused expansion, supported by executives with extensive, deep industry knowledge. The key element of this strategy is the hiring of Eravi Gopan as President and Head of the Hi-Tech Vertical.
Gopan has extensive experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and AI startups, as well as a track record of establishing new business units within Wipro, making this experience directly applicable to the requirements of technology clients.
Hexaware’s stated goal is to help clients in this vertical drive AI adoption, modernize platforms, and accelerate product introductions. The domain leadership that Hexaware is seeking is the involvement of Gopan in growing businesses in different geographies, and having worked with venture-funded companies, such as a SaaS platform funded by Google Ventures and a startup financed by Accel Ventures.
“We have a tremendous opportunity to accelerate growth, both for Hexaware and our customers, by building a powerful, symbiotic ecosystem with the world’s leading technology and AI platforms,” Gopan notes.
Furthermore, Hexaware has introduced its existing Executive Vice President of HR, Hariharan Srinivasan, as the interim Chief People Officer to lead its people strategy through this transition, replacing Nita Nambiar.
Such strategic hires will put Hexaware on a path to actively introduce AI into its service offerings, expand its business knowledge, and refine its competitive advantage in the dynamic global market.
