Hexaware establishes wholly-owned subsidiary in Colombia

NAVI MUMBAI, INDIA and COLOMBIA — Hexaware Technologies has formally announced the incorporation of a new wholly-owned subsidiary in Colombia, named “Hexaware Technologies Colombia S.A.S,” reported by the Capital Market.
The subsidiary was established in accordance with the provisions of Law 1258 of December 5, 2008, and with the approval of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce.
Hexaware is a technology and digital service provider that provides its services based on the adoption of artificial intelligence, with an annual revenue of $1.4 billion. It has approximately 31,000 employees across 60 offices worldwide. The international customers that Hexaware Technology has are spread particularly in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and the Americas.
Hexaware ranked #18 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies.
Strategic expansion into the Latin American market
Hexaware’s move to establish a branch in Colombia is a strategic step that will help the company further establish itself in Latin America. It will also give the IT company a direct operating base to reach a growing market, capitalizing on the new technology in Colombia.
In a document obtained by Business Standard, Hexaware Technologies Colombia S.A.S. is a fully owned subsidiary with a capital of COP 1,000,000 (US$ 256.68) and is fully owned.
This investment demonstrates the company’s commitment, enabling it to provide more control and efficient digital transformation services across the Americas and globally.
Corporate governance and regulatory compliance
In the announcement, Hexaware has met the corporate governance and regulatory transparency standards recommended for publicly listed companies. This way, the company has exercised faith towards the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited in compliance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The disclosure, signed by the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, Gunjan Methi, also contained an annexure detailing the subsidiary’s information, which established that the formation of the subsidiary is not a related party transaction, as it is a new wholly-owned subsidiary.
This expansion to Colombia is part of its international expansion strategy, as it establishes itself in a strategic geographical position and remains within financial regulations while leveraging its technology capabilities.
