PARIS, FRANCE, and UTAH, UNITED STATES — Global HR consulting and technology firm HR Path has acquired Lumi, a United States-based consultancy specializing in Workday integrations

The strategic move significantly strengthens HR Path’s delivery capabilities in the American market and deepens its expertise within the Workday ecosystem.

Marie-Soleil Boucher, Partner at HR Path, notes, “We are delighted to welcome the Lumi team, whose integration enhances our Workday capabilities in North America and further reinforces our presence in the region.”

Expanding U.S. footprint and Workday integration expertise

This move builds upon the company’s previous acquisition of Next Generation Inc. (NGI), demonstrating a consistent pattern of investment aimed at expanding its delivery capabilities and physical presence across the U.S.

It can also be recalled that HR Path first expanded its Asia-Pacific footprint by acquiring India’s Blueprint HR to deepen its SAP SuccessFactors and UKG capabilities, before merging with U.S.-based Enforce to dominate the North American Dayforce market.

On the other hand, Lumi brings a highly focused and reputable practice to the HR Path group. The company was founded by Chase Zollinger and Matt Dobbs in 2017.

Founded by Chase Zollinger and Matt Dobbs in 2017, Lumi brings a highly focused and reputable practice to the HR Path group. The company is defined by a clear set of goals to offer its clients a superior experience in the consulting process, based on client advocacy and maximizing the value of their Workday investments.

François Boulet, Founding Partner at HR Path, notes, “The acquisition of Lumi, a company renowned for its Workday expertise, is a strategic step that strengthens our ambition to be the global reference in HR transformation.”

“This step opens new opportunities for our team and our clients. We will now be able to offer our clients an expanded range of services, access to a deeper talent pool, and the support of a global partner. It positions us for continued growth and success in the market,” added Chase Zollinger, Co-Founder of Lumi.

Operational continuity for Lumi’s Workday clients

HR Path has structured the deal to prioritize operational stability for Lumi’s existing clientele. The acquired company will continue to operate under its established brand identity, now branded as “Lumi, an HR Path Company.”

This strategy indicates that they intend to retain the market share and customer relationships Lumi has established over the last seven years and utilize the resources of a larger global player.

The acquisition comes with conditions that all leadership and employees remain in their respective positions to ensure a smooth transition. To guarantee uninterrupted service for Lumi’s clients, HR Path will retain the acquired firm’s founding team and staff.

Retaining the existing workforce guarantees that the consultancy’s philosophy of client advocacy and deep technical expertise in Workday integrations will be maintained as HR Path scales its U.S. presence.

Matt Dobbs, Co-Founder of Lumi, notes, “Our customers will benefit from the global scale we’ve always aimed to provide, and our consultants will gain immediate access to exciting career-growth opportunities.”

With the acquisition of Lumi, HR Path strategically anchors specialized Workday expertise into its North American operations, advancing its broader ambition to build a unified global delivery platform capable of competing across the entire HR transformation landscape.
