HR Path acquires Swiss firm smahrt Consulting to grow European reach

PARIS, FRANCE — HR Path, a global HR consulting and technology firm, has acquired Swiss-based smahrt consulting AG in a move to deepen its footprint in the European HR-IT market for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition strengthens HR Path’s service portfolio in Switzerland, particularly in SAP-based HR solutions.

Smahrt brings SAP expertise and system integration skills
Smahrt consulting AG, founded in 2007, has earned recognition for its specialized expertise in SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, and integrated third-party solutions. The firm helps HR departments digitize and streamline their processes, enabling them to focus on strategic initiatives rather than routine administration.
Beyond its technical depth in SAP, smahrt is known for its ability to integrate peripheral HR systems. The firm’s experience aligns seamlessly with HR Path’s mission of delivering holistic, tech-driven HR transformation.

This acquisition marks HR Path’s latest effort to scale its global operations through targeted mergers and acquisitions (M&A). It follows previous deals that have helped the firm grow its HR technology and outsourcing capabilities. The company recently acquired Eaton Square and IntSys Solutions. By adding smahrt to its network, HR Path not only gains technical depth but also increases its access to the Swiss market—one of Europe’s most sophisticated HR landscapes.
