Cybersecurity provider Huntress enters Australia, New Zealand

MARYLAND, UNITED STATES — Managed cybersecurity firm Huntress recently expanded its operations to Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
Huntress Chief Revenue Officer Mike LaPeters said their expansion to ANZ will allow them to “provide increased security and defense” against local cyber attacks and threats in the region.
Reece Appleton, Huntress Regional Director, added that the firm heavily invested in cybersecurity experts from ANZ — particularly across their ThreatOps, product support, and sales engineering teams — to understand the local market.
“MSPs want a partner, not just a vendor, so we’re putting a lot of effort into cybersecurity education and partner enablement. We know partners want to educate their customers and offer solutions which align to frameworks like the Essential Eight and NIST, so we’re building the pathway there,” he added.
Huntress is a Maryland-based firm that provides an easy-to-deploy, low-noise Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) with 24/7 management ThreatOps teams across the United States (U.S.) United Kingdom (UK), and Australia.
