Hyvid launches AI-integrated global offshore staffing platform
BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA — Former founders of a multi-million-dollar offshore staffing firm have reunited to launch Hyvid, a new workforce company that blends global talent with artificial intelligence (AI), aiming to transform how companies manage offshore teams.
According to a company press release shared with Outsource Accelerator, the move signals a shift in outsourcing from traditional wage savings to “intelligence arbitrage.”
Shifting from wage arbitrage to AI-integrated staffing
Hyvid was founded by Angela Vidler and Robert Hynes, who previously built Diversify Offshore Staffing—a firm acquired by NYSE-listed HGS in 2022. They are joined by former chief operating officer Yjez Batulan, returning as co-founder and COO with 20 years of offshore operations experience.
The company provides professionals from key global hubs, including the Philippines, India, and Sri Lanka, who receive training to use role-specific AI tools from their first day of work.
This AI integration is embedded throughout hiring, training, and management processes, rather than added on top of existing offshore models.
“Traditional offshoring was built around wage arbitrage,” Vidler said.
“The next era is about intelligence arbitrage, combining global talent with AI to multiply output, not just reduce cost. That shift is already underway, and most businesses are not yet structured to capture it,” Vidler added.
Vidler also highlighted the company’s proprietary technology. “We are building proprietary AI frameworks and orchestration infrastructure that operate inside real business workflows,” she said.
“Long-term value isn’t in the software, it’s in how people and automation are designed to work together,” she added.
Scaling global offshore teams with AI workflows
Batulan said Hyvid represents more than a staffing company; it reflects a fundamental evolution in global workforce strategy. “We’ve seen how offshore teams scale,” he said.
“What has changed is the intelligence layer. Hyvid ensures every professional is AI-enabled, with structured oversight and measurable performance built in,” Batulan added.
The company has begun client onboarding this quarter, focusing initially on mid-market Australian businesses seeking to scale teams across finance, marketing, IT, and operations.
For Vidler, the launch is both a personal and professional milestone, following her three-year recovery from breast cancer after the Diversify sale.
“We’re not launching another staffing company,” she said.
“We wanted to build what comes next. The companies redesigning their workforce strategy around AI right now aren’t just cutting costs, they’re building a structural advantage their competitors will spend years trying to catch,” Vidler added.
