ibex’s Julie Casteel wins Stevie Award for advancing women’s careers

WASHINGTON, UNITED STATES — Julie Casteel, Chief Strategic Accounts Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at business process outsourcing (BPO) firm ibex, was awarded the Bronze Stevie Award for her work in advancing women’s careers.
Casteel was honored in the Women Helping Women – Business category at the 20th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. The Stevie Awards are considered to be among the world’s top accolades for women executives and entrepreneurs.
In her acceptance speech, Casteel said, “It is inspiring to work with so many talented women professionals as they advance their careers and help them build a network of mentors that will be crucial as they move forward in business.”
A dedicated mentor herself, Casteel co-founded ibex’s Women of ibex employee resource group, which furthers opportunities for women through training and support. She also helped ibex partner with the nonprofit Global Mentorship Initiative to encourage leaders to mentor students.
Winners were selected from a pool of 1,600 nominations from 26 nations by averaging scores from 200+ business professionals serving as judges.
We congratulate all of this year’s Grand, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners for their achievements,” said Stevie Awards President Maggie Miller.
