IBM to boost Oracle Cloud expertise through Accelalpha acquisition

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Tech giant IBM has announced plans to acquire Accelalpha, an Oracle Cloud Applications consulting provider, as part of a strategic move to enhance its Oracle services portfolio.
Though financial terms of the deal remain confidential, it is anticipated to further develop IBM’s capabilities in supply chain, logistics, finance, enterprise performance management, and customer transformation.

IBM’s acquisition of Accelalpha is expected to close by the end of 2024, pending regulatory approvals.
