IBM to boost Oracle Cloud expertise through Accelalpha acquisition
NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Tech giant IBM has announced plans to acquire Accelalpha, an Oracle Cloud Applications consulting provider, as part of a strategic move to enhance its Oracle services portfolio.
Though financial terms of the deal remain confidential, it is anticipated to further develop IBM’s capabilities in supply chain, logistics, finance, enterprise performance management, and customer transformation.

Headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, Accelalpha brings a large global team of skilled consultants to IBM Consulting. The company serves clients across North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South America, with a focus on distribution, industrial, and financial services sectors.

IBM’s acquisition of Accelalpha is expected to close by the end of 2024, pending regulatory approvals.
