iCAD and RamSoft partner to enhance breast cancer detection with AI

NEW HAMPSHIRE, UNITED STATES and TORONTO, CANADA — iCAD Inc. and RamSoft have struck a major deal to integrate cutting-edge AI breast cancer detection tools directly into radiology systems across North America.
The partnership will embed iCAD’s ProFound AI Breast Health Suite into RamSoft’s widely used platforms, giving thousands of healthcare providers seamless access to advanced diagnostic support.
With over 750 sites already relying on RamSoft’s solutions, the integration promises to streamline workflows and boost detection accuracy for breast cancer screenings. Standard radiology practice is witnessing a major progression through this move which introduces AI-driven diagnostics to become a routine part of clinical workflow for better efficiency and patient outcomes.
AI integration boosts speed and precision in medical diagnostics
The FDA-cleared ProFound AI will be embedded in RamSoft’s PowerServer, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while boosting diagnostic confidence. The move comes as studies show 20-40% of breast cancers go undetected in conventional screenings.
“iCAD’s partnership with RamSoft marks an important step in expanding access to AI-powered breast health solutions across North America,” Dana Brown, iCAD President and CEO said.
The collaboration demonstrates how healthcare professionals embrace AI technologies for better precision and faster processes in their work. The improved system will enhance both speed and precision while helping Mammolink increase its mission of providing vital breast cancer screening services to more patients.
Advancements in radiology workflow and patient care
RamSoft delivers radiology software as a service to imaging centers and radiology departments and teleradiology providers who can use PowerServer to extend their RIS/PACS systems. With the integration of iCAD’s ProFound AI combined with RamSoft’s solutions acquired AI-powered mammography capabilities, this builds better operational efficiency and improved healthcare delivery for patients.
Mammolink, a Florida-based mobile mammography provider, will be the first to implement the integrated system across its five screening buses.
“Integrating ProFound AI into our workflow via RamSoft’s PowerServer technology will allow us to deliver faster and more accurate results to the women who rely on us for timely, life-saving screenings,” said Dr. Ryan Polselli, Mammolink Founder and radiologist.
The partnership between iCAD and RamSoft highlights how artificial intelligence plays an essential role in medical imaging since both organizations focus on breast cancer detection and patient care enhancement. By integrating AI solutions into existing radiology workflows, healthcare providers can leverage advanced technologies to enhance diagnostic accuracy and operational efficiency, ultimately leading to better patient healthcare.
