Indian job seekers prefer permanent WFH jobs — Naukri

An increasing number of Indian job seekers prefer applying to companies with permanent work-from-home (WFH) options, according to job platform Naukri.com.
In a report, Naukri.com stated that there have been 3.2 million job searches for permanent and temporary remote jobs over the past six months.
More than half (57%) of these searches were made for permanent remote jobs, with the highest search count — over 350,000 — made only in December.
Naukri.com Chief Business Officer Pawan Goyal said that there is currently a “foundational change” on how organizational structures are being set up by employers.
He added that more recruiters understand the benefits of remote work — “like access to talent and more inclusion” — and are now making permanent changes in HR and infrastructure to accommodate job seekers.
Naukri also reported that the IT Software, Software Services, ITeS, and Recruitment/Staffing sectors are posting more permanently remote jobs than other industries in the country.
